Amanda is a family law attorney dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal representation in Clark County, Washington. Originally from Idaho, Amanda has made Vancouver her home since earning her law degree. With a background in the Financial Technology industry, where she specialized in corporate actions, Amanda brings a unique, analytical perspective to her family law practice. This strong foundation in finance and business allows her to offer clear and strategic guidance to clients navigating complex family law matters.
Amanda's practice focuses on dissolutions, modifications, and de facto parentage petitions. She is committed to understanding her clients' individual needs and providing tailored legal solutions to help them move forward with confidence.
During law school, Amanda served as an Associate and Managing Editor of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, sharpening her legal writing skills and collaborating with peers to strengthen their own work. She also served on the board of Mitchell Hamline’s ACLU Student Chapter and the Law and Business Society, advocating for inclusivity and supporting non-traditional law students.
Since launching her career in Clark County in 2023, Amanda has worked tirelessly to guide families through challenging legal transitions, always with a focus on empathy, integrity, and practical solutions. Admitted to WA 2023 and OR 2024.
Outside of her practice, Amanda enjoys hiking in Vancouver’s beautiful green spaces, experimenting with new recipes, and playing board games with family and friends. She is also an active member of the Vancouver Housing Committee and volunteers on the Women's Build Habitat for Humanity Board. Amanda shares her home with her husband and her cat, Tybalt.

Holly Carstensen has worked as a legal assistant/paralegal since 2017, after earning her AA and paralegal certificate in 2017. Ms. Carstensen joined Beaty Hatch PC in 2022 to assist with family law and has greatly enjoyed supporting our family law clients and the attorney during the legal process. Outside of work, she enjoys making and experiencing art of all kinds, spending time with her children and friends, and gardening.
